Lead Software QA

We have fulltime positions available in New York and Berkeley, CA.

You will be working on a Cluster Management, Systems Management product that supports Windows and Linux, OS X and FreeBSD, and relies heavily on distributed communications over TCP.
This is a native C++ cross platform product, including the GUI (we use QT).

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in QA on distributed and diverse systems.

Our test environment relies heavily on the use of many servers and platforms such as Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris.

Here are the requirements:

• MUST HAVE experience in software QA. Preferably on systems built with C/C++.
• MUST HAVE extensive experience in QA process and delivering QA reports for use in checkpoint/release decisions.
• MUST HAVE with source code control, CVS, Subversion or Source Safe.
• MUST HAVE experience with build tools, GCC, make.

We are also looking for one or more of these skills:

• experience building and releasing software on multiple platforms
• experience writing scripts to automate QA tasks
• experience using QA automation tools or QA code testing frameworks
• experience writing scripts in Perl/Python
• experience doing programming in C/C++
