problem installing bixdatadesktop

rob@xstation:~/bixdata$ ./rundesktop.sh
./bixdesktop: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
rob@xstation:~/bixdata$
is something missing here?

found it it was the library
