Hello folks,
I'm not yet a Bixdata user... but to initiate my road on Bixdata's world I need only some info: I want to monitor, from a Windows system, my MySQL database, installed on a RedHat ES Linux system. Is possible this configuration ? And what BixData software I need to install on monitor host (MSW2K3) an what on db host (Linux)? I don't understand if I need the 'server' module..... TNX for your help

Hi,

Just install BixServer (which is only about 10MB) on your monitor server, and BixAgent on every machine (Linux or Windows) that you want to monitor.

Now I have a question: I want to check 2 Mysql server (one Linux and one WS-XP, my desktop). I installed the relative scripts on the 2 hosts and on the linux no problem, but on windows I see the dow windows called from the bat file by the agent.... How can I to hide this windows ?
