Configuration Doubts

Submitted by hvaliente on April 28, 2008 - 11:24.

I'm evaluating BixData but I have a few doubts which I'm going to list:

1. How can I specify the check interval time for an specific service per host ? I noticed that every time I change the check interval it's changed for all host/tags and not per host. I need to check a service availability , for example, every 10min for server A and 5min for server B both HTTP servers.

2. I have two server defined for HTTP checks:
- Server A is for company A and notification have to be send to admin1
- Server B is for company B and notification have to be send to otheradmin.
I noticed that I can only define notification per service and not per host or I'm wrong ?

3. I always get HTTP fails then I have to define a path but the same path applies to all host/tag inside an HTTP server check and not per host. If I have differents URL for diferent servers it becomes a problem

4. Match for HTTP checks are not working

I will appreciate your help on this issues

At this moment I'm OK with points 1, 2 and 3.

About point 4: I can't make this to work yet. When I define a pattern in "Match" I always get the service down in BixDesktop. How I have to configure this ?

Is possible to make HTTP Checks and get the download speed, response time or define GET and POST procedures ?

I appreciate your comments

Humberto

All HTTP checks are default GET.
The response time and download times are both stored and listed in reports.

Match can be any text, or regular expression.
