GLIBC_2.3.2' not found

when I try to run the agent I get this error message
./bixagent: /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0: version `GLIBC_2.3.2' not found (required by ../systemlib/bixsystemlib.so)
./bixagent: /lib/i686/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by ../systemlib/bixsystemlib.so)

I'm not sure what to do.

Which version of linux? Are you running Redhat 7.3?

Try installing the source RPM for glibc, best option, or precompiled

rpm -ivh glibc-common-2.3.2-4.80.8.i386.rpm
